What Are Wax Melts?

Welcome to the wonderful world of melting!  Wax melts are a great way to fragrance your home without having to light a candle. Wax is melted, colored, and scented then poured into a mold until it hardens.  Depending on the type of wax used, the wax is set aside to “cure”.

Curing means that the wax is given time to bind with the fragrance oils used. In the case of soy wax, at least two weeks is needed before a melt can be effective.  Paraffin wax melts are ready to melt in 24-48 hours. In the case of soy wax creations, a pour date will be listed on the product. If you purchase a soy wax creaton, please do not melt until that pour date has passed.

Wax melts, or tarts should only be melted in an electric or tealight warmer, and should never be left unattended.

Many of our fragranced wax melts and other wax creations smell and may look like food. Please do not consume them as they are most definitely not food!  Please keep them and warmers out of the reach of children and pets.  Always melt responsibly and be sure to read information and warning labels before use.
